The Economic Affairs Interim Committee of the legislature will have a teleconference call April 30 to get updates about impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Montana employees and businesses, including the role of local banks in helping roll out federal Small Business Administration loans.

The teleconference call will start at 10 a.m. Time will be provided for public comment. The meeting is open to the public. For those who wish to view only, the meeting will be streamed live on.www.leg.mt.gov and broadcast on the Montana Public Affairs Network (MPAN). An archived recording of the meeting also will be made available at leg.mt.gov.

For the members of the public who wish to join the meetng to provide public comment, please send an email before 5 p.m. on April 29 to committee staff with your name and a request for an invitation. Staff will provide instructions for joining the teleconference call.

A time is provided on the agenda for oral public comment. To accommodate the software used for the teleconference and for security reasons, those providing public comment are asked to follow instructions sent as part of the invitation to join the meeting. Comments will be taken in order. Written public comment also is welcome and is requested to be sent by email to committee staff prior to 5 p.m. April 29.
