Trenk, Director, Office of Legislative Information Technology ACTIVITIES DURING THE 1995-96 INTERIM The Administrative Code Committee was relatively inactive during the 1995-96interim, especially compared to prior interims. This inactivity was largelybecause of a decrease in the number of complaints from the public regardingexisting and proposed rules and their application and a decrease in the numberof rule proposals that the Committee found it necessary to consider at aCommittee meeting. The Committee met only once during the interim. Therefore, in the interest of saving publication costs and to avoid repeating thematerial contained in prior Committee reports to the Legislature, this report willbe brief. Readers are referred to material in the Committee's report to the 52ndLegislature for information regarding the functions of the Committee, the needfor an administrative procedure act and Committee oversight of administrativerulemaking, the Committee's powers, and the requirements of the MontanaAdministrative Procedure Act (MAPA). The Committee met on February 23, 1996, to elect a presiding officer and vicepresiding officer and to consider a building subdivision that was required by theDepartment of Public Health and Human Services to have both a well and aholding tank for each house. Rules regulating dental hygienists and dentalassistants were also considered. l55 6309jmxa. Converted by Montana Legislative Services using WP2HTML
